Workout Motivation

I’m in a private group on Facebook called Fab and Fit, Healthy and Happy Woman. During the month of November we did a 30-Day Plank challenge while also answering questions pertaining to thanks and gratefulness. On our 25th day, the question was, “Which of your senses are you most grateful for today?” I quickly answered with “my sight” because the only things that can take my breath away are things that I’ve seen.

I know that due to COVID-19 many people have experienced a loss of smell that they haven’t gotten back. While I am very grateful for my sight, I am so glad that I have my sense of smell. Scents make me happy!

I discovered essential oils many many years ago. I made soap, lotion, deodorant and roller bottles for ailments, you name it. Eventually, busyness made it hard to keep up. I also discovered that in my climate, I had to keep some things in the refrigerator or it would go bad.

Around the end of March or April when we were really really sheltering at home, I made an investment in a starter kit of oils - collecting scents that would be great for Immunity and disinfecting the air through diffusing and slowing adding scents that just smelled good.

As Facebook cookies knew I was interested, it started showing me ads and articles for essential oils. I finally decided to order from REVIVE Essential Oils.

So bringing this back around to my title, I went for a nice sunny walk this morning to breathe in some fresh air and get some natural Vitamin D. It’s been gray and cold for awhile and you really don’t realize it’s been consistent until the day when brightness it comes shining through the windows. On those gray days, for me the process of getting motivated for an indoor workout starts with scents.

I wanted to share the recipe for this blend that I call Workout Motivation. Though I’ve been using it for awhile, once I start the diffuser the motivation kicks up a notch because it smells seasonal. It could be renamed Happy Christmas or Mood Lifter. Who doesn’t need some of that?

I’m going to try to share a favorite blend once a week, that’ll give me something to write about at least. REVIVE is not an MLM company and this is not a sponsored post. However, if you’re placing an order for the first time using this link, you get $10 off and I get a $10 gift card. My wishlist is super long!
